Obsidian Mouse Skates For Finalmouse S12 / UL2 / ULX
Pre-cut hardened PTFE replacement feet for the Finalmouse Starlight 12, Ultralight 2, and Cape Town (ULX) — a hard, finely frosted surface that adds friction for sharper stops and more deliberate control. Two complete sets included for double the install lifetime.
The Obsidian skates are laser-cut to match the foot layout shared across Finalmouse's recent ultralight lineup. No DIY trimming, no template alignment — peel the stock feet, line up the skates, press down, and play.

Obsidian is tuned for cloth and glass pads. The frosted PTFE finish bites against fabric and glides cleanly across glass — but plastic/hard pads will accelerate wear and don't pair well with the control-oriented texture.

Will these fit my Finalmouse Starlight 12 / Ultralight 2 / Cape Town?
Yes — these three models share the same foot layout, and Obsidian is laser-cut to that footprint. They will not fit older or newer Finalmouse generations with a different foot pattern.
Are Obsidian skates the best mouse feet for FPS control on Finalmouse?
For players who prefer a control feel — sharper stops, more deliberate micro-adjustments — hardened PTFE with a frosted finish is the right category. If you want maximum glide speed instead, look at a UHMWPE or smooth-PTFE option.
Can I use these on a hard plastic pad?
Not recommended. The frosted hardened-PTFE surface is built for cloth and glass pads. Plastic pads will wear the texture down faster and lose the control feel they were designed for. A control cloth pad or a glass pad will give the best result — explore our gaming mousepad collection if you need a matching surface.
Why do I get two sets per pack?
Skates are consumables — they wear over time depending on grip pressure, pad surface, and hours played. Two sets means you've got a fresh spare ready when the first set softens up.
Will these change my sensor lift-off distance?
No. Thickness is tuned to 0.8–0.9 mm to match the stock foot height, so the sensor stays at the same distance Finalmouse calibrated for.
How do I install them?
Peel the stock feet off, wipe any adhesive residue with isopropyl alcohol, let it dry, then peel and press the Obsidian skates into place. No tools or templates required.
14 Days Refund Policy
Cancellation
You may cancel an order before we fulfilled it. Please allow 3-5 business days for the refund to process to your original method of payment.
Returns
Please note that we currently do not accept returns from the EU or OCE. We apologize for this inconvenience.
Our return policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have passed since you received, we cannot offer a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
Partial Refunds
There are certain situations where only partial refunds may be granted, including but not limited to:
Items showing obvious signs of use
Any item not in its original condition, is damaged, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
Any item returned more than 30 days after delivery
In these cases, we reserve the right to issue a partial refund, depending on the condition of the returned item.
Shipping
You will be responsible for any and all shipping costs of returning an item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
Depending on your shipping location, the time it takes for an exchanged product to be delivered may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $75, please consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as we can't guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If approved, your refund will be processed and the credit will be automatically applied to the original method of payment within 10 business days, depending on your bank.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you have not received a refund yet, please check your bank account. Contact your credit card company, as it may take time before your refund is officially processed and posted.
Only regular priced items may be refunded. Discounted items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you receive a damaged or defective product you have 72 hours upon arrival of the product to contact us regarding the defective unit at contact@torontokeyboardman.com.
