UR M1X Aluminum Case for Wooting 60HE / 60HE+ / Wooting V2
A Premium Aluminum Case with Mother-of-Pearl Inlay

We don’t bring in every Wooting case we come across. There are a lot of options out there now, but every once in a while, something feels different right away. That was our first impression of the UR M1X.
Built for Wooting 60HE, Wooting 60HE+, and Wooting V2 PCB, the M1X is the kind of case that stands out not because it tries too hard, but because the details are actually there. From the mother-of-pearl inlay on the back to the anodized finish with laser-engraved feather texture, this is clearly a case made for people who care about how a board looks, feels, and comes together.
Designed for Wooting 60HE / 60HE+ / Wooting V2
The UR M1X is designed specifically for the Wooting 60HE platform, including 60HE, 60HE+, and Wooting V2 PCB. That makes it a strong option for anyone who already loves the performance side of Wooting, but wants something more refined on the physical build side.
Wooting already gives you one of the best Hall Effect experiences on the market. What the M1X does is take that familiar platform and give it a more premium shell, more character, and more enthusiast appeal.
Mother-of-Pearl Inlay Detail
One of the first things that caught our attention was the mother-of-pearl inlay on the rear of the case. It is not the kind of detail you usually see on a gaming-focused board, and that is exactly why it works.
It gives the M1X a more crafted feel, almost like something between a custom keyboard case and a display piece. Depending on the light, the surface shifts subtly and adds a lot more depth than a plain aluminum back would.

Anodized Finish with Feather Laser Engraving
The rest of the case keeps that same balance. The anodized aluminum body is paired with laser-engraved feather texture, which gives the rear design a lot of identity without making it feel overdone.
We like when a case has clear design language but still feels clean on the desk, and the M1X lands in that sweet spot. The feather pattern is noticeable, but still tasteful, and it works especially well with the mother-of-pearl accent.

Dual Structure: Gasket and Top Mount
The M1X supports both Gasket Mount and Top Mount, which is something we always appreciate. Different people want very different things out of a build, and having both options makes the case more flexible right away.
If you prefer a slightly softer and more cushioned typing feel, gasket is there. If you want something a bit firmer and more direct, top mount gives you that option too. It is a simple feature on paper, but it matters a lot when you actually start building and tuning a board.
Includes a White FR4 Gold-Finished Plate
The case also comes with one white FR4 gold-finished plate, which is a nice touch. FR4 is still one of the safest and most balanced choices for a lot of builds, especially if you want a clean sound profile without going too extreme in either direction.
Visually, the white plate also fits the overall presentation really well. It keeps the build looking intentional instead of feeling like a random mix of parts.
Video Showcase
We’ve also included a video below so you can get a better look at the overall case, the rear details, and how the M1X comes together in motion.
Final Thoughts
We think the UR M1X is one of those cases that makes sense the moment you see it in person. The compatibility is there, the structural options are there, and most importantly, the finishing details actually feel considered.
For anyone building around Wooting 60HE / 60HE+ / Wooting V2, the M1X offers something more elevated than a standard replacement case. Between the mother-of-pearl inlay, the feather engraving, the dual mount structure, and the included FR4 plate, it feels like a proper enthusiast upgrade instead of just another shell swap.
