POM plate + foam

Case foam was great but the case PET tape cut outs were misaligned and did not even fit in the case so I had to trim off a good bit to make it fit. The POM plate is fine, a little tight around the stabs but carefully pushing it down around those areas worked. However, you can see the screws from the pom plate between the keycaps and I do not like that. The wooting stock plate hides the screws from the top and you cannot see the screws between the keycaps.
The main reason I am disappointed is I got the POM and foam to help mute out the sound of my wooting on plastic case and TTC pom which are very loud. Everything in this mod kit did not do much more than what I had previously, which is just a silas dampening mat in the case and stock everything else with hand lubed poms and stabs. Currently I am using both the POM plate and the poron switch foam and everything to fill out the case except for pet switch film and pe switch foam and it sounds not much different than stock with silas dampening mat so I feel like I wasted 50 dollars. I think if you want a more marbly sound it may be worth getting the FR4 and the pet switch film I did try and it made a more high pitched marbly sound so this kit may be good for that sound profile but for muted deep I think the POM is not worth it.

Worth upgrading.

This kit feels and sounds much better than stock and the gasket actually feels like a gasket now.

GREAT SOUND

I was a bit confused about the order of placing the parts, but I managed to assemble it while watching a YouTube review video.
Now my keyboard produces the best sound, and I’m really happy!

Thank you for being flexible with the shipping settings as well!

Foam + FR4 White Gold Plate

Overall I’d recommend although there was a delay in my order because they ran out of stock they gave me 10% off for my inconvenience. I originally purchased the carbon fiber but went ahead for the white gold plate.

Build quality isn’t perfect
When I put the PCB clear film and foam between the plate and the PCB some of the keys wasn’t registering fully (which isn’t good) so I tried one each with the foam only first still registering the keys as not fully pressed down, I then tried it with just the clear film and that was fine it worked. It didn’t fully muffle the noise I wanted to removed but oh well it’s better than the keys not registering. I put the rest of the foam and film under the PCB between the zinc alloy and the bottom of the module and it’s ok. I would suggest trying the carbon fiber maybe it’s different.. the gold plate had some imperfections like chipped paint etc. and some of the screens are too small and it doesn’t bite on the included screw hinge to secure the pcb with the goald plate…

I’m still happy with my purchase
I would look further in to the keys not registering when fully pressed and is also make the screws a tad bit longer maybe a .5mm more and it should be fine overall I’d still support

Carbon Fiber

Sounds great but the cutouts for switches and stabilizers are too tight. The tight tolerances damaged two sets of switches (Geon Raw HE, Gateron Jade Pro) and my stabilizer housings (Durock V3 screw-in stabilizers).

This may or may not apply to all carbon fiber plates.
