Refund Policy

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel an order before it has been fulfilled. Please allow 3-5 business days for the refund to process back to your original method of payment.

  • The first two cancellations are free of charge.

  • Starting from the third cancellation, a 10% fee will be applied to cover interchange and processing costs.

  • For any orders over $500, a 10% cancellation fee will always apply.

  • Pre-orders and Group Buys are final sale and cannot be cancelled or refunded once placed.

 

Returns

Please note that we currently do not accept returns from the EU or OCE. We apologize for this inconvenience.

Our return policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have passed since you received, we cannot offer a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. 

Product-Specific Return Conditions

To help maintain a clean and trustworthy enthusiast community, and to ensure every customer receives a brand-new, unused product, some items are subject to stricter return conditions due to hygiene, resaleability, and product integrity.

Please review the following carefully before placing your order.

1. Switches

Switches are not eligible for return once installed or mounted on a keyboard.

  • If the switches have been used in a build, installed on a keyboard, lubed, filmed, or otherwise modified, they are not returnable.
  • Unused switches in original condition may be eligible for return within our return window.

2. Keycaps

Keycaps are considered a personal-use item.

  • Once the plastic seal/shrink wrap is opened or removed, the item is not eligible for return.
  • Returned keycap sets must remain sealed and in original condition.

3. Keyboards

Keyboards are not eligible for return once the original seal/plastic wrap has been opened or removed.

  • Opened keyboards cannot be resold as brand-new.
  • Please confirm compatibility and product details before purchase.

4. Mousepads

Mousepads are considered a personal-use item.

  • Once the paper zipper / sealed packaging has been opened, the item is not eligible for return.
  • This is due to hygiene and resaleability concerns.

5. Modding Kits

Modding kits are not eligible for return once installed or used in a build.

  • These products are not intended for trial use.
  • If you purchased the wrong modding kit and it remains unused and unopened, it may be returned within the return window.
  • Installed, tested, or used modding kits are not returnable.

6. Earphones / IEMs / Headphones

Earphones, IEMs, and headphones are considered personal-use / hygiene-sensitive items.

  • Once opened, they are not eligible for return.

7. Accessories

Accessories are not eligible for return once used.

  • Returned accessories must be unused and in original condition.

Important Notice

We are committed to maintaining the integrity of the enthusiast peripherals community and ensuring that every customer receives a new, unused product.

For this reason, many of our products cannot be returned once opened, unsealed, installed, or used.

Please review our return policy carefully before placing an order to avoid unnecessary shipping, return costs, and waste.

 

Partial Refunds

There are certain situations where only partial refunds may be granted, including but not limited to:

  • Items showing obvious signs of use
  • Packages has been opened and cannot be resold.
  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
  • Any item returned more than 30 days after delivery

In these cases, we reserve the right to issue a partial refund, depending on the condition of the returned item.

     

    Shipping

    Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs unless the item received was incorrect or defective. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

    Customers may choose to:

    • purchase a prepaid return label from us, with the label cost deducted from the refund, or
    • ship the item back using their own preferred carrier

    For returns from the United States, refund processing may take longer than usual, as returned items must first be received by our U.S. return point and then forwarded back to Canada for customs clearance. Please allow approximately 2–3 weeks for the return to be received and processed.

    Depending on your shipping location, the time it takes for an exchanged product to be delivered may vary.

    For returns over $75, we strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We are not responsible for returns lost in transit.

     

    Refunds (if applicable)

    Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

    If approved, your refund will be processed and the credit will be automatically applied to the original method of payment within 10 business days, depending on your bank.

     

    Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

    If you have not received a refund yet, please check your bank account. Contact your credit card company, as it may take time before your refund is officially processed and posted.

    Discounted items (if applicable)

    Only regular priced items may be refunded. Discounted items cannot be refunded.

     

    Exchanges (if applicable)

    We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you receive a damaged or defective product you have 72 hours upon arrival of the product to contact us regarding the defective unit at contact@torontokeyboardman.ca.

     

    Gifts

    If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

    If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift-giver shipped the order to themselves, we will contact and process the refund to the gift-giver.
