A three-brand collaboration moulded end to end in frosted, light-diffusing ABS + PC. RGB doesn't leak through a legend window here — the entire keycap lights up.
Not a shine-through legend. A shine-through keycap.
Almost every "backlit" keycap set is an opaque cap with a small translucent window cut into the legend. The light escapes through a letter and nothing else, and the rest of your board stays dark.
Prism inverts that. Every cap is double-shot moulded in translucent ABS and PC, so backlight fills the cap from the stem all the way to the four walls. Legends read as soft silhouettes floating inside a glowing block instead of hard-edged cut-outs.
Three things this set does differently.
Even, milky diffusion
The frosted exterior scatters light instead of piping it, so you get a soft even glow across the whole cap rather than a hot spot over the LED.
Readable with the lights off
Legends are double-shot moulded in a contrasting grey against the frosted white body, so the set still reads cleanly on an unlit board.
Sculpted OEM rows
Classic OEM profile with per-row angles — a familiar, comfortable seating that spreads light rather than blocking it.
Frosted, not glossy.
Clear plastic caps usually arrive mirror-polished — which looks great in a product photo and shows every fingerprint by lunchtime.
Prism is finished with a matte frost instead. It kills the glare, hides oils, gives your fingertips something to hold onto, and doubles as the diffusion layer that makes the glow even.
One set, two completely different boards.
Unlit, Prism sits somewhere between ice and porcelain — a quiet monochrome set that suits a white or silver case without shouting.
Turn the backlight on and the same board becomes the loudest thing on the desk. Because the whole cap transmits, any colour your keyboard can produce reads at full saturation — per-key effects, wave gradients and reactive typing all show through the cap body, not just a letter.
100 keys. Seven supported layouts.
Prism White ships as a 100-key kit in OEM profile, covering 60 / 61 / 63 / 64 / 68 / 75 / 87-key layouts. Double-shot moulded in ABS + PC — the letters are a separate shot from the body, so legends never wear off and diffusion stays consistent from key to key.
Standard MX cross-mount.
Prism uses the standard MX cross-stem, so it drops onto MX switches and MX-style clones from any of the usual makers — mechanical or magnetic.
Check your board's bottom row and modifier widths before ordering: non-standard spacebars, split backspaces and stepped keys may need the matching size from the set.
