Description
Pulsar eS Series
Pulsar eS Jupiter Pro Gaming Mousepad
Slow glide, strong stopping power — a control pad engineered for tactical FPS precision.
Overview
Slow Glide, Strong Stopping Power
The Jupiter Pro from the Pulsar eS series is engineered for precision control, featuring a slow glide and strong stopping power. Its Double Piqué Fabric with a fine-textured surface creates consistent friction while offering a smooth touch and a “locked-in” feel. These features deliver the ideal performance for tactical FPS games, where every movement must be accurately controlled.
Three hardness variants — XSOFT, SOFT, and FIRM — let you fine-tune the feel within the same slow-glide family. All three share the same SLIMFLEX (formerly known as PORON) base, the same Double Piqué surface, and the same eS-series tuning philosophy.
Available in two sizes: XL (490 × 420 mm) and XLSQ (500 × 500 mm), both 4 mm thick. Select your variant and size from the dropdown above.
Key Features
Built for Tactical FPS Precision
◑
Slow Glide
A deliberately slow glide profile that favors micro-adjustment and precise aim over speed — the Jupiter Pro is a control pad, not a speed pad.
■
Strong Stopping Power
Consistent friction from the Double Piqué surface delivers a “locked-in” feel — your crosshair stops where you intend it to.

Three Hardness Variants
XSOFT, SOFT, and FIRM — all slow-glide, tuned for different braking-power and comfort preferences.
•
SLIMFLEX Base
The SLIMFLEX (formerly PORON) base is a key upgrade in the eS series — improves durability, comfort, and glide consistency.
Base Technology
Precision Glide with SLIMFLEX Base
A Key Upgrade in the eS Series
The PORON (now known as SLIMFLEX) base material is a key upgrade in the eS series, offering enhanced customization for users. It allows you to choose between a softer feel, providing a tailored experience based on your preference.
This advanced base material improves overall durability and comfort, offering a smoother glide while maintaining control. SLIMFLEX is a crucial element in optimizing the mousepad’s performance, ensuring a high-quality, responsive feel during use.
Choose Your Variant
XSOFT · SOFT · FIRM — Which Hardness Fits You?
All three variants share the same Double Piqué surface and SLIMFLEX base. What changes is the compression of the base, which affects braking power, glide speed within the slow-pad range, and overall comfort. All three remain control-oriented — “FIRM” is the fastest of the three, but still a slow pad overall compared to speed-oriented surfaces.
XSOFT
Braking Power: Most Glide Speed: Slowest
Compresses easily even under light pressure, creating a slight “cup” around the skates. Higher breakaway force (slower to get moving) and higher stopping power (easier to stop precisely). Extra soft has the most stopping power for flick-heavy games and the most comfort due to the almost memory-foam-like feel.
SOFT
Braking Power: Balanced Glide Speed: Balanced
Moderate compression with a well-rounded feel. Balanced launch, glide, and braking. Popular and approachable for most players and playstyles. Soft has a good balance between comfort, stopping power when you need it, and tracking as well.
FIRM
Braking Power: Least Glide Speed: Fastest
Minimal compression; skates don’t “dig in” to the surface. Lower breakaway force (quicker start) and higher glide speed. Favors long tracking / continuous motion (tracking-heavy games). Firm has little to no give to it for the most consistent performance in tracking-heavy games.
The Jupiter Pro’s Double Piqué Fabric with a fine-textured surface creates consistent friction while offering a smooth touch and a “locked-in” feel.
This is the ideal performance profile for tactical FPS games, where every movement must be accurately controlled — micro-adjustments, counter-strafing, and precision click-timing all benefit from a predictable, controlled surface.

Perfect For
Who This Mousepad Is For
Tactical FPS Players
The slow-glide, high-stopping-power profile is tuned for precision-first games where every movement must be controlled — crosshair placement, counter-strafing, and accurate flick-stops.
Flick-Heavy Aimers (XSOFT)
If you rely on sharp flicks that need to stop exactly on target, the XSOFT’s extra compression and highest braking power give you the most confident stop.
Balanced Players (SOFT)
Approachable for most players and playstyles — a balanced feel that works whether you’re flicking, tracking, or doing both within the same round.
Tracking-Heavy Players (FIRM)
Minimal compression and the most consistent surface of the three, for long continuous motion and tracking-heavy tactical play.
Care & Handling
Keeping Your Pad Performing
Wipe the surface with a slightly damp, lint-free cloth to remove skin oils, dust, and sweat. For deeper cleaning, use lukewarm water with a drop of mild soap, rinse gently, and lay the pad flat to air dry fully before use. Do not machine wash or tumble dry. Store the pad flat whenever possible; short-term rolling for transport is fine, but tight or prolonged rolling can affect the SLIMFLEX base. Keep the pad away from sharp objects and abrasive surfaces to protect the stitched edge.
Frequently Asked Questions
FAQ
Is this a control pad or a speed pad?
The Jupiter Pro is a control pad across all three hardness variants. It’s engineered for slow glide and strong stopping power. Even the FIRM variant — the fastest of the three — is still a slow pad overall compared to speed-oriented surfaces.
What is SLIMFLEX? Is it the same as PORON?
Yes. SLIMFLEX is the current name for what was previously sold as PORON. It’s a key upgrade in the eS series base layer — improves durability and comfort while offering a smoother glide with maintained control.
Which variant should I pick — XSOFT, SOFT, or FIRM?
XSOFT if you play flick-heavy tactical games and want the most stopping power and the softest, most cushioned feel. SOFT if you want the balanced, approachable middle ground — a good default for most players. FIRM if you play tracking-heavy games and want the most consistent, least-compressed surface. All three are slow-glide control pads.
What does “slow glide” mean here?
“Slow glide” means the surface has higher friction than a speed pad — your mouse moves more deliberately, and it stops more firmly when you stop pushing. This is ideal for tactical FPS where precision outweighs raw speed. If you prefer effortless, low-friction movement, a slow-glide pad is not the right choice.
What sizes are available?
Two sizes: XL (490 × 420 mm) and XLSQ (500 × 500 mm). Both are 4 mm thick. Pick XL for a standard wide-format pad, or XLSQ if you prefer a square pad that gives you equal vertical and horizontal range.
What is Double Piqué Fabric?
Double Piqué is the fine-textured cloth weave used for the Jupiter Pro surface. It delivers the consistent friction and “locked-in” feel that defines the pad’s control-oriented performance.
How do I clean the mousepad?
Wipe with a damp lint-free cloth for routine cleaning. For deeper cleaning, use lukewarm water with a drop of mild soap, rinse, and air dry flat. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
