The WS Flux Diamond HE Switch is available in four variants: Ocean Heart, Cullinan, Tears of the Sun and Star Kiss. Every variant shares the same Hall Effect structure, force curve and travel — the housing, stem and light-guide materials are what change, and that is what shifts the sound.

Shared Hall Effect Structure
All four variants use the same Diamond-series internals: a 3.6 mm central large magnet, a 6.65 mm × 23 mm spring, and factory-lubed linear travel calibrated for Hall Effect PCBs. Swapping colourways changes the sound, never the feel.

Ocean Heart
Light blue, thocky, with a matte light guide that diffuses RGB into a softer glow.
Cullinan
Fully clear, deep clacky, and the sharpest RGB transmission of the four.

Installation & Compatibility
Compatibility: works with most magnetic keyboards and Hall Effect keyboards that accept standard magnetic switches.
Hot-swap Hall Effect PCBs only. A magnetic switch has no metal pins — it seats via the center magnet, so no soldering is required. Do not install these in a standard mechanical PCB.
Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between the four variants?
All four share the same Hall Effect core, force curve, travel and flux. Ocean Heart (light blue PC, light blue POM stem, matte light guide) and Tears of the Sun (light yellow PC, semi-transparent yellow POM stem) are tuned thocky. Cullinan (full transparent PC, PA12 stem) and Star Kiss (light pink PC, PA12 stem) are tuned deep clacky. The stem material is the main acoustic difference — POM reads thocky, PA12 reads clacky.
Which variant has the best RGB?
Cullinan, with a full transparent PC housing, transparent PA12 stem and transparent PC light guide. Tears of the Sun also uses a full transparent light guide. Ocean Heart uses a matte transparent light guide, which diffuses the light for a softer, milkier glow instead.
Do the four variants feel different to type on?
No. Initial force (35 ± 5 gf), bottom-out force (45 ± 7 gf), total travel (3.50 ± 0.10 mm), spring (6.65 mm × 23 mm) and the 3.6 mm central magnet are identical across all four. Only the sound and the look change.
Are these compatible with my Hall Effect keyboard?
Compatible with most magnetic keyboards that support standard magnetic switches. Install on a hot-swap Hall Effect PCB only.
Do I need to solder these switches?
No. A magnetic switch has no metal pins — it seats via the center magnet into a hot-swap Hall Effect PCB. No soldering required.
Are these linear or tactile?
All four are factory-lubed linear switches, 35 ± 5 gf initial force and 45 ± 7 gf bottom-out force.
Why are two magnetic flux values listed?
Hall Effect PCBs are commonly 1.2 mm or 1.6 mm thick, which changes the sensor-to-magnet distance. Flux is calibrated for both: 130 ± 15 GS initial / 750 ± 70 GS bottom-out on 1.2 mm, and 115 ± 15 GS initial / 635 ± 50 GS bottom-out on 1.6 mm.
