I built the keyboard on Friday, I put the PCB in a Wooting x Optimum case with the Optimum blank keycaps.

I took the the PCB apart to put some PET film on it, as well as lube the stabs which are excellent, and installed the friction fit pad. I also added a few layers of tape at the back and the keyboard sounds incredible. This is my first time using an aluminum plate and I'm loving the typing feel and sound I'm getting out it.

Now, I say "near" perfection in the title because there are some things that are a bit of downgrade compared to say a Wooting 60HE. You can't rebind the FN key so can't use the bottom right corner to mod tap it into arrow keys.

Also, speaking of Mod Tap, while setting it up is a breeze, it does not play nicely in game for some reason. In BF6 I've not been able to get mod tap working properly, it's very erratic. I suspect it's to do with the firmware.

Otherwise, fantastic product! Very happy with the performance I'm getting, and the web UI is a breeze to use.

I just received the kit today and put it together. I've had my 60HE in a Holy60 for a few weeks with the stock PC plate, foam and Jade Pros before picking up this kit.

First, I love the envelope it all comes package in, and everything I needed was inside.

Now, while there is a nice video to follow to get the general idea of what to do, you may or may not have to do some cutting/tweaking to get it to work for your setup.

For me, I had to some cuts to the PET film, PE switch foam, and the plate foam to get them all fitting properly around my screw-in stabs which are not the stock Wooting ones but rather Typeplus stabs.

I'd say the only real challenge I had was getting the FR4 plate seated properly around all the stabs as it's a very snug fit, and I'm so used to the pliability of the PC plate that having something less forgiving like the FR4 plate made that part a little more difficult.

Once that is all said and done, this is a great package. The FR4 plate, along with the additional foams and film have given me a clean, poppier sound when typing and I love it. Listening to audio of the FR4 plate vs the stock PC plate is very surprising. The sound with the PC plate is while a touch lower in frequency, also sounds muddier vs the FR4 plate.

I can absolutely recommend this kit, especially if you're going to be putting this in any compatible case like the Tofu Redux, Holy60. You might as well go all the way and extract the most sound you can out of this thing.

Also, I thought I'd talk about the PE Switch Foam quickly as the site does mention it can affect performance. I'll say that for anyone that uses the full range of the switch may want to be mindful about using the switch foam. For instance, if you use dynamic keystroke, there is a chance that the final bit of travel gets affect by the foam. So if you're someone that uses DKS, or like to have long travel distances for their actuation, you'll want to forgo the switch foam.

For anything else with short actuation, it's perfectly fine, and you'll love the marbly sound you get out of it. Seriously, this combo'd with Jade Pros is amazing. Fantastic sound for an HE keyboard.

I was previously using the original Magnetic Jades in my Wooting 60HE, but have done a full upgrade with a new case, foams, stabs, tape, etc.

I decided to upgrades to the Jade Pros from my original Jades and they are fantastic. Well lubed out of the box, I don't see the need to lube them myself for now, and they sound amazing for a magnetic switch. If you're looking for a deeper sound, these are definitely up there as a top option.

I've used these in two keyboards now, and currently use them in my heavily modified Wooting 60HE.

First off, the package is excellent and the way the wires and the housing are presented to you is fantastic. I definitely suggest looking up the quick tutorial video on assembling these stab as the way the wires are installed is a little different, but very easy once you get it down.

Lubing was extremely easy. I lubed the sides of the stems as well as the sides of the housings and then greases up the ends of the wires. The stabs came out feeling extremely smooth, with evidence of rattling whatsoever.

Without a doubt, I can highly recommend these stabs!

first keyb i’ve built and the kit it comes in makes it a breeze. 0.01 mm actuation is fucked up. love it.

Compared to normal stems, these switches are significantly more stable with noticeable less wobble throughout actuation. Overall, the typing experience with these switches made my board feel more premium

Truly silent and tactile, purring switches

I received the white gold FR4 plate in perfect condition, and it modified the acoustics of the board just the way I wanted. It arrived without the screws/standoffs, but the team was fast to respond and send over the screws. No complicated returning or reordering. Just mailed me the missing stuff.

Super smooth and light switches that offer a trademark bright and clacky sound signature from hmx. I have tried lighter speed switches before, but the blue topaz is lubed very well that they feel like feathers.
